Downlighting
One of the most natural and elegant lighting techniques we use is downlighting. Sometimes called moonlighting, this approach involves mounting fixtures high in trees or structures and directing light downward to softly illuminate the landscape below.
The effect is gentle and inviting, producing pools of light and subtle shadows that resemble natural moonlight. Downlighting is ideal for patios, pathways, driveways, seating areas, and garden spaces where both beauty and functionality are important.
By lighting from above rather than below, downlighting creates depth and ambiance while helping guests safely navigate the property after dark. It is often one of the least noticeable lighting techniques during the day and one of the most beautiful after sunset.
